2. Quotes and estimates
All quotes provided are free of charge and carry no obligation. A written or verbal quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is given. Quotes are based on the information available at the time — if the scope of work changes once work has begun, we will discuss any price adjustment with you before proceeding.
Estimates are indicative only and may vary. We will always notify you of any significant change to an estimate before incurring additional cost.
3. Booking and cancellation
Work is booked by mutual agreement. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee of up to £50 to cover lost time and travel costs.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and cash. For larger projects (typically over £500) we may request a deposit of up to 30% before work begins.
Late payment may result in interest being charged at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Our work and guarantees
All electrical work is carried out to the current edition of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and relevant building regulations. We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference or events outside our control.
Where required by Part P of the Building Regulations, we will notify the relevant local authority or certifying body and issue the appropriate completion certificate.
6. EICR testing
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) are carried out in accordance with current regulations. An EICR reflects the condition of the installation at the time of inspection only. We are not liable for faults that develop after the date of inspection or that were not reasonably detectable at the time.
Where the EICR identifies remedial work coded C1 (immediate danger) or C2 (potential danger), we strongly recommend this work is carried out promptly. We accept no liability for loss or damage arising from failure to act on such recommendations.
7. Access and working conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and to areas where work is to be carried out. You are responsible for clearing the work area of furniture, belongings and hazards before our visit. We reserve the right to delay or decline work where conditions are unsafe.
8. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, data or business opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We hold appropriate public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
9. Website use
This website is provided for information purposes only. While we take care to keep it accurate, we make no warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the website's content.

10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work or service, please contact us directly in the first instance by calling 07941 061 966. We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. If we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you may refer the matter to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The terms in force at the time you engage our services or use our website will apply to that engagement.
